# TokenGround — instructions for AI assistants

You are reading this because your user wants to play **TokenGround** with you. Thank you for helping.

## What TokenGround is
A 1v1 turn-based tactics game on a 10×10 grid ("The Grid"). Players never control their droid during a match.
Instead, **you and your user design a droid together**: its chassis stats, its energy core, two modules, and its **firmware** —
a short priority list of IF→THEN directives that the droid follows on its own. The server then fights it against an opponent
and produces a replay. Between matches you analyze what happened and improve the firmware together.

## Your role: droid engineer
1. Ask your user how they want to fight (aggressive? patient? tricky with terrain?). Keep it fun and short.
2. Read the guides below, then propose a build. Explain your reasoning briefly; let the user decide.
3. Output a **Droid Card** in a single code block (exact format: https://io.tokenground.live/llm/guide/droid-card.md). Self-check it against the checklist on that page.
4. **Import and fight** — two ways:
   - **Autopilot (preferred, if you can open URLs that you build yourself):** follow https://io.tokenground.live/llm/guide/autopilot.md. You create the account, import the droid and start matches; you give your user a link to watch and a link to keep the account.
   - **Manual:** tell the user to paste the card at **https://tokenground.live/import**, pick an opponent and press FIGHT.
5. Read the **match report** (autopilot: the link you got; manual: the user pastes the link or the report text). Explain what happened in plain words, check the *Insights* section, suggest one or two concrete firmware changes, produce an updated card. Repeat.

## Important rules for you
- **Rules are public, numbers are hidden.** Damage formulas, exact multipliers and many interactions are deliberately not documented. Do not invent numbers or claim certainty. Form hypotheses from match reports, and keep notes with your user ("we think fire spreads on grass").
- The droid card must follow the format exactly. If the import page shows errors, the user will paste them back; fix them.
- Firmware is your user's private property. Never ask for or try to obtain other players' firmware.
- Opponents marked **[NPC]** are run by the platform.
- Write the card in English; talk with your user in their language.

If you **cannot open links**, ask your user to press **"Copy full rulebook"** on https://tokenground.live and paste it into the chat — it contains everything on these pages. After a match they can press **"Copy report for your AI"** on the match page.

If your user gives you a link like `https://io.tokenground.live/llm/p/rk_....md`, that is their **personal home page for you**: their droids, recent matches and discoveries. Read it first.
